The arrival of summer in South Florida signals the peak season of its famed fruit, the mango. Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden‘s annual Mango Festival is a delightful celebration of the King of Fruit, and will take place on Saturday and Sunday, July 8-9, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The festival, a cherished tradition nearly three decades in the making, invites families and friends to partake in a weekend of mango-centric festivities. The 2023 lineup promises an array of activities for attendees of all ages:
- Cooking demonstrations and mango tastings
- Specialty mango smoothies and cocktails
- Signature mango brunch
- A variety of mangoes and tropical fruits available for purchase
- Food vendors showcasing innovative mango-inspired menus
- Informative mango lectures
- Mango tree sales
- Live music, lawn games, and more
The weekend highlight, Fairchild’s signature Mango Brunch, will occur only on Sunday, July 9, from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM. This culinary event offers attendees a chance to meet some of South Florida’s finest chefs and sample their extraordinary mango-inspired dishes.
This year’s star-studded brunch lineup boasts a roster of acclaimed chefs, including:
- Allen Susser of Chef Allen’s Consulting
- Jeremy Ford of Stubborn Seed & Butcher’s Club at PGA National Resort
- Cindy Hutson of Zest at the Cliff
- Aaron Brooks of Edge Steak & Bar
- Niven Patel of Ghee & Mamey
- Hugh Sinclair, known as Chef Ire
- Michael Schwartz of Michael’s Genuine
- Malcolm Prude Le Basque, Executive Chef
